I actually wrote this post while listening to a Qnet presentation to one of my colleagues at work … I hope non of the Qnet people will take it personal as many of them do
1. How materialistic it transforms people . with Qnet you only care about the $$$
2. No one really cares about the products they are selling .. even the guy who was doing the presentation next to me, he didn’t really know much about the products. the guy allocated around 10% of the time talking about the products and the rest talking about gaining amazing profit from qnet with all the financial independence it provides
3. Mind trick games the IRs play during the presentations ( am doing this for you not for me , i only invite people who are willing to work not anyone ,.....)
4. After you enter Qnet .. you see everyone(Family, Friend , someone u barely know) as a potential customer or victim
5. Trying to associate Qnet to any big organization or event … before that there was Microsoft which didn’t go any further than installing their web servers then they stopped mentioning it .. today I heard the guy saying that they are the official sponsor of "Formula 1" !!! … I googled it and it turned out they are sponsors for the Virgin racing Team ... it just shows how desperately they seek some credibility

2. You r right about this point for the most part but I have personally known people to buy some products without joining the business
3. Definitely not a mind trick game ... I always tell people that if they r not willing to work not to join .. After all I doing really care for the 40$ I will get if someone purchases and does not work.
4. True I see people as potential qnetters but why is that so bad? I have some friends who joined and others who didn't want to. No hard feelings.
5. I heard the Microsoft thing in the presentation too. I didn't like it either. Manipulative I think. I don't use that.
So what I'm saying is any job can be performed in a dignified or non dignified way.
Qnet has changed my life, don't hate what you can't have !

ReplyDeleteWell you wrote your feeling about presentation and in some points you were right,but that's not company's fault that some presenters are not good informed about company. Of course you can not understand the man who says that he is doing this for you not himself because you are not in this business. I personally thought like you when I was presented but now I really understand what they meant when they said it and it is true. And it is wrong to say that you become a zombie when you join qnet(everyone seems to you $$$),I have friends who joint and some who didn't and I don't care if they did or didn't I just wanted to help them,that's all.

Those presenters just throw big "emotion driving" words like: Faith, Believe, Success, Dream...and use quotes from people who are REALY difference makers in the world (none of which are Qneters of course!) And they use those quotes or words to manipulate the crowd.

Boss, I request u to first understand the company and business model thre r people who hv won padmashree awards in qnet rnt they successful? Qnet touches lives of people and what u hv mentioned work hard study hard ect that everyone does and at the end di a job for 40 yrs and yet die broke... qnet helps make money, extra ordinary learning, I mean live mba, try for urself what u hv read in books remains till u write the exams, seems like ur v successful, can u say that ur financially free? Can u gv time for ur self, kid, family, friends, ? Pl do ur primary motivational factors and u will self realise why u need this kind of business... dude first understand the company it is making lives since 1998 and if ureally want to know abt it reply to this and m sure it will change ur traditional mind set and u will understand what 21st century business is all about... how many of us r in position to help others? Running after a materialistic dream is not humane and is exactly what those who control the media (tv, movies, magazines, news, online....everything) want us humans to do. They want to turn us into materialistic slaves! So, thank you Qnet for transforming a big group of Egyptians into materialistic zombies! All those top level QNet people talk bullshit. Anybody who uses their brain or has worked in a proper company or owns his own buisness (a REAL business not a mlm bullcrap scheme) knows that all the points and values they speak of is just a big mind game.
I just urge all you mlm people who are taking the easy way out in life just to become "rich", to use their brain. Do something useful in life and use your brain for a change.

I think ur socially networking but still in traditional mind set... bacchu learn abt it at one point if time u will also force ur self to get into this 21st century business as said by bill gates and albert Einstein....so chill and dont apply ur traditional mind...u can work for another 30 - 40 yrs spend ur life making ur emoloyer richer, work free for govt 3 months as u pay 33 percent tax, make d bank richer by paying home loan interest at the end of the month broke...and after 40 yrs of work beg to survive and die broke, this is what a common man lives for...change is required for all come out of ur MBA attitute (mannu baddhu aave) this business not only tskes u to financial freedom but also makes u help others... so cool chil and learn with open mind... its ur benefit... ReplyDeleteFor some reason, everybody especially Qneters are very sensitive towards this topic. Which I actually understand since they are fully invested in the company or as they call it "their company".
ReplyDeleteI just want to assure all the qneters that the people that are against qnet or any of these other similar companies have either been negatively affected or have reputable jobs and understand the scheme and are just trying to raise the awareness so nobody else falls into the Pyramid or MLM trap.
In short, these companies generally exploit those in need of extra income. They target third world countries and specific communities within countries like the US, where they target the Latino or African American communities.
Basically they offer the lifestyle you dream of by selling products that are generally of no use to other people you recruit to form your own business. Where you train and support your now "employees" to do the same thing.
At some point the population will exceed those who are eligible to buy into this company and those at the lower levels won't make any money and the company would probably close as they would have reached their limit. But, you can argue and say that will take years if it ever happens and until then I will happily make my profit.
The micro-case though is that one lives in a certain limited community and only has access to a limited amount of people, thus your community can scale down very quickly, especially if you are in a well educated community or if you are one of the last people to enroll. Or you could obviously be one of the lucky ones (that work hard of course) and benefit from exploiting all your community and become their boss/roll model and all that.
The moral of this all is, everyone is entitled to their opinion and to follow whatever suits them or their needs. I just hope that people stop following the materialistic aspects of life and start thinking how they can grow in life without exploiting others and gaining from their losses.
